Calms Down Anxious Children With neuro diverse grandchildren, this alternative to poppits, chew toys etc. is great. The beads are comfortingly smooth to roll between fingers and hands, the soft sound as they are rolled around and twisted into different shapes is soothing, so all-in-all it’s a great calming tool. I keep ours in the car to be shared around whenever a stressed person needs to self-soothe.
